𝓢𝐇𝐈𝐃𝐎𝐔 𝓜𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐈 was never the offering chosen.
Raised in the shadow of something brighter, louder, and infinitely more wanted, she learned early that worth was not inherent; rather, it was decided. Measured. Given, and just as easily withheld. She sharpened herself into something unignorable, something that could not be dismissed, but no matter how hard she tried, she remained what she had always been: second. Unseen. Unchosen.
𝓘𝐓𝐎𝐒𝐇𝐈 𝓡𝐈𝐍 was a name built on rejection.
Not abandoned, nor forgotten, but left behind all the same. Where others sought connection, he felt a sense of direction, in being alone. He made sense from the emptiness. Changed it into something more distant, more precise and unreachable. If he could not be chosen, then he would become someone no one could overlook.
But being unchosen is not a passive fate, and it will fester and twist into something unrecognisable.
