In Gotham, normal doesn't last long. Avery Vale is used to balancing school, coffee shop shifts, a younger brother who pretends not to care, and a father who's always working too late. Most days, pretending she has her life together is enough. Then Gotham starts getting involved. A late night on a rooftop puts her face-to-face with Nightwing.
