Chapter 1: The Return
Jake Carter hadn't been near a rodeo arena in over a decade. His name once echoed through the stands, a legend in the world of bull riding. But after a life-changing injury and a broken heart, he walked away from it all-his career, his fame, and even his family.
Now, at 42, he lived a quiet life in a dusty Texas town, working odd jobs and staying out of the spotlight. That was until a letter arrived-a letter from his son, Luke. The same boy he hadn't seen in ten years.
"I want to ride," the letter said. "Teach me, Dad."
Jake stared at the page for a long time. The past came flooding back-his mistakes, his silence, and the pain he never spoke of. Could he really go back? Could he be the father he never was?
Chapter 2: The Reunion
When Luke stepped off the bus, he looked just like Jake did at his age-strong-willed, stubborn, and hungry for a challenge. But he wasn't there for a reunion. He was there to learn.
"I don't need a dad," Luke said. "I need a coach."
Jake agreed. What neither of them knew was that the rodeo would test more than their strength. It would test their hearts.
Chapter 3: The Ride
As training began, so did the healing. Between bruises, broken bones, and long nights under the stars, Jake and Luke started to talk-really talk. About love. About regrets. About dreams lost and found.
The Last Rodeo wasn't just Luke's chance to ride-it was Jake's chance to finally do something right.
