It's Rory's pre-graduation party, and she's not feeling too good. Lorelai has her concerns and thoughts, but keeps them to herself. Logan shares some concern, but is building the courage to ask a life changing question. The Hayden's and the Gilmore's are united and getting ready to announce Rory's future. Many decisions are to be made. What is Rory's response to Logan's question? Why isn't Rory feeling at all that well? What happens if Logan became a doctor instead of stepping into his predestined life at HPG? I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan, and started started watching The Resident with Matt Czuchary, and this idea for a story suddenly came to me. This is all Gilmore Girls but slightly inspired by The Resident. I own nothing Please read and review.

What might have happened if things went a little differently in the lives of Rory Gilmore and Logan Huntzberger? In this version of the story, Rory went to Harvard and became an author while Logan took a very different path. The two didn't meet until later in life.

It was been 6 weeks after Rory has said No to Logan's proposal and Yes to being a reporter on the campaign trail and a phone call changes her life. Rory comes to Logan's side once again and in the process of helping him, she learns about herself and what she truly wants. Logan and Rory begin again. This story is an alternative to the Season 7 ending that the original writers gave us. I do not own Gilmore Girls, just giving them a new ending.

Dinner at the Huntzberger's didn't go according to plan. Insults thrown left and right at Rory but Logan defends her. However when a certain cord is struck things take a drastic change.

This is my interpretation of after the final 4 words. I'm also a huge "The Resident" fan so I am planning this to be a sort of cross over because Conrad reminds me so much of Logan and what I envision Logan to be had he gone to med school. It is not going to be a full cross over. The location will be in and around Stars Hallow and Hartford as well it will be staying consistent with the Gilmore girl characters along with some of the resident characters as well just not at Chastain. I hope you enjoy how I link the two shows. I do not own the rights to any of the characters.

Rory tells Logan and is surprised by his response.

This story picks up right at the end of Season 7, immediately after the cameras quit. Rory and Lorelai are sitting in the diner talking, and Rory is trying to find the guts to tell Lorelai the news.

Rory started work, writing about the presidential campaign of Barack Obama, and Logan moved to California to work for a new internet company.
