Finding your one true love is supposed to be amazing, right? Wrong. Not when love between vampires and werewolves is taboo. Not when your love is a secret. Not when your love is considered shameful. This short story follows Xander and Achilles and their efforts to navigate what it means to be in a forbidden romance. This is an entry for the @romance Forbidden Love contest.

What happens when of all ways to be outed her aunt walks in on them in a very precarious position? Humans have a tendency to react on impulse during moments of intense emotions. Tragety, betrayal and loss look over his and Alexei's head. Alexei being the King, Rin being the servant. Both as ripe as the sweetest bud of a grape.
