This is my entry for the Romance To BE or Not to Be contest. Katarina was said to be angel chained to a demon. As tales tell not all things are true. Thanatos though his name means death is not what he seems. Romeo and Juliet two star crossed lovers destined only to die for their love. Time will tell but can it be enough for love is what drives people and kills them. Katarina and Thantos the destined love to fail or not fail. Read to see.

On the surface, Zenobia's principles of segregation were pure with good intentions; separate the men and women to keep the peace between sexes - to stop discrimination, inequality and violence. However, is a segregated society the best place to nurture humans? As two adolescents venture out to The Wall for solace, they uncover an essence of humanity long since forgotten after many years of segregation; and with it, the experience of the bittersweet taste of ugly fruits and vegetables. Romancetobeornottobe contest entry Ayanda knows all too well that racial segregation will never truly end. Treated more like a dog at her job, she knows all too well than to trust white people much less to love them. This all changes when the madam's son, a student from England flies back home for a few months. And for some reason takes a liking to Ayanda. She hates them but she can't seem to hate him. Their budding romance, seemingly sweet, can ultimately put Ayanda's life in danger. They begin a dangerous affair, knowing very well that although not accepted, their love is the purest thing they have ever felt in their lives. Do these lovers give up or fight for the notion that 'black and white do mix'
