ro·man·ti·cist rōˈmantəsist,rə-/ noun a writer, artist, or musician of the Romantic movement. a person who subscribes to the artistic movement or ideas of Romanticism. -- They say I am one heck of a romantic lady because of my writings. But I doubt it.

Lydia Hastings creates and lives in this world of fantasy. She's a romanticist. She doesn't want to face the truth therefore she believes in illusions. Ones that could either benefit or harm her. She's the loud, yet reserved, outgoing friend in her close knit group of three. But her whimsical mindset is detrimental to not only her relationships, but also her mental health. This 17 year old mixes the cruelty of the real world with her make-believe one. Will Lydia ever be rescued from her childish gameplay?

While navigating her teenage years in moving to a foreign school, antisocial and arrestingly comely Kalie Willow finds herself torn between her old bully, James, and charming senior Mason Mannix. Scattered amid the way, James finds himself remorseful for his ignominious actions and Kalie discovering self-love which she had been starved of by James in her middle school years.
