Lauren 'Ren' Peace was a ghost, a girl who died and returned. It had not. In fact, it had likely become worse than ever before. Family against family, rival against rival, shootouts in the streets and gang culture in the schools. The philosophy of Peace vs. Wendigo may as well have been written in stone, two families with a history akin to a Saga. The town was in shambles, worsened even more upon Ren's shocking return and the death of the Peace Patriarch, while the mystery of her disappearance and sudden return haunted them all. Among their questions and anger and hurt, behind the shambles of everything Ren knew she had to fix, was a girl named Samantha Parrish. A girl Ren had forgotten she had ever known, the heir to the Wendigo family, and who was supposed to be Ren's sworn enemy. Except, with a smile like that, it was a little hard to see her that way. Loosely inspired by the story of Romeo and Juliet, this story follows the ghost of Lauren Peace in her duty to save her town, her love, and everything she had ever cared about, while losing almost everything in the process. Unless she does something about it.

Set in a post-modern city of Verona, a Montague and a Capulet fall in love, despite their families being rivals.

After Zak arrives at the complex, he is greeted immediately by Darryl, and the two share a night in Darryl's appartement since Zak has not yet fully arranged his new place. And after the two have breakfast, Zak proposes the two go somewhere for a date, which ends up being their downfall.
