During the killing game, Kokichi Oma and Shuichi Saihara slowly became closer without either of them admitting it. Kokichi keeps pretending everything's a joke, while Shuichi starts realizing there's actually something real underneath all the lies. They fall in love in discreet, but neither says anything because they both know that, in a game where anyone could die at any moment, getting heavily attached is probably the worst thing they could do. So they keep pretending they don't care, until caring becomes impossible to hide. // SPOILERS !!! and sorry for bad english

A pregame Saioma fan fiction! No Shuichi won't be all Yandere but he will be over protective and things of the sort. Kokichi does get bullied but not by the usuals, Kaede, Kaito, Rantaro, Maki, ect. Kokichi will give off both soft vibes but also tough vibes because I don't wanna be THAT type of person who will make him very shy and oh so cute and soft. Shuichi finds himself meeting a new purple haired boy that he hasn't seen around before. The purple haired boy seems to be a tough petite boy at first but as Shuichi begins to gain his trust he begins to soften and show his true colors; not only to Shuichi but slowly, to everyone. Eventually Shuichi finds himself falling deep into love for this boy.

After the killing game has ended, it's discovered that the sixteen students have been in comas for the past three years. They were put into a virtual world for three years to stimulate their brains, however the killing game was the result of an inside job within the coma ward, and was televised to the world by the footage being rerouted to a channel. The 'Danganronpa' games have been around for a while, and is run by an undisclosed group (obviously). The group runs this show illegality, however unlike the other 51 games, no one actually died... since they were in comas in a virtual world. Shuichi and the others who survived to the end, have all woken up, whilst many others who died. The only ones who are awake that died in game includes: Kaede, Rantaro, Ryoma, and Kirumi. Once they FINALLY start to adjust to living life again, they are thrust into the fifty fourth Danganronpa game.
