A second attempt at the story I loved but left behind. The battle with Hawkmoth is tireless and has gone on for long enough. Not only that, but now another element brews deep outside Paris, France. This leads Marinette towards a different school and a different city entirely. With the class trip being there she finds it the perfect time to try to convince her parents to let her go; however, in the middle of this chaotic city she has more to worry about than just her future school. With crime, unsettling teammates, and magic, Marinette ends up left behind. And not just in any city- in Gotham, home of Batman and his sidekicks. This story is supposed to be a reimagining from the original II history, but the characters are humanized and they attend to an elite school called International Inquiry High School (which is basically just an excuse for me to make some of the characters from other nationalities). Ships included, but I'll try to not make them affect the plot too much, since I don't want to ruin the experience to my non-shipping fellas. Slow updates, bruh. when Marinette dupain cheng is tormented endlessly by her UNWORTHY excuses of sheep of her classmates. she finds out that she won an exclusive class trip to the one and only GOTHAM CITY!! she sees this as a great beginning for a new start. will she finally find a lover after a horrible heartbreak? will she start a new life? most importantly. will she be able to resist strangling that liar la?

The headmistress started the conversation very lightly: "So, what life-changing trauma happened to you?" "I've been closed in human experiment hospital against magic for 8 years and a few months, you see." "Wait, what?" Nathan stopped my starting monologue of angst, "You told me you ran away." "Yeah, that's true," I shrugged, "I just never told you from where." I think I haven't seen a person looking this surprised and shocked at the same time. The urge to start laughing was almost unbearable, but I think I'd freak him out even more. The head of the school looked amused as well.
