Once the night is over you had enough. The next morning you are washing the dishes and thinking about what happened last night, you have the urge to stab him...

It's the year 2100, and meeting your partner in REAL-LIFE has been illegal for 50 years - ever since the divorce rate reached a crippling 80 percent. Now, there's a new answer: SATE, the government initiative aimed at matching all 18-30 year-olds with their one true person. Their soulmate. The success rate is 99.9%. Sounds perfect, right? For 18 year-old Marianne, who's parent were matched by SATE, it definitely is NOT. She wants experiences. She wants adventures. She wants mistakes. A soulmate? No thank you. Not right now.
