Mace is a soft-hearted yet strong minded young man , recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and still figuring out what that means for him and his career as a classical pianist. War, his older brother's best friend, is a sharp-tongued, violent street-hardened man who sees Mace as a liability and isn't shy about saying so. As misunderstandings and assumptions fade away, the concrete walls of their heart begin to crack, something unexpected and dangerous starts to grow between them. Mace thinks War is a cruel and violent thug. War thinks Mace is a crazed entitled brat . they both find themselves understanding one another, more then anyone else ever could, including themselves.
