Email is g6ypk1@yahoo.com Thank you all. You're reading my work makes my writing worthwhile. I have rewritten chapters Four and Five, so that a comprehensive and more malleable comprehension of the philosophy of the science and argument, along with the plausibility that assists the reader greatly. Back and Forth is set in 2040 and 1065-66. The disappearance of a misjudged maverick scientist in 1966; his derelict home; its purchase and full renovation brought the discovery of a clandestine laboratory and, what turned out to be a prototype Time-Machine, found in a hidden cellar. Like an out of control roller coaster my mind was racing. With this golden opportunity thrust into my hand. The time was ripe to do something about the battle at Hastings. Could this humiliation England suffered 974 years previous be reversed? The opportunity would never come again and, it was up to me to set forth and meddle with history. England shall never be invaded and lost again. Secretly, I gather scientists, engineers and close friends to advise and devise ways and means to bring about the reversal of this most ignominious defeat. Would King Harold accept help from these angels? Or are we to him, Satan's demons? What happens next? Will these Wizards from the 21st Century bring England out of the Iron Age into a peaceful, happy and enlightened environment? Will an oppressive continental regime continue to rule this land, and, if so, how could this situation be reversed? For good or evil, we must see what happens.

By Donald Mace Williams (Bagwyn Books, 2015) Edgar, the central figure of The Sparrow and the Hall, is a churl, working and raising his family on a small farm in extreme northeastern England during the seventh century. Though he can barely afford even a metal tip for his wooden plowshare, he looks upon life much as a typical modern American farmer does: with determination, acceptance, and good humor. He loves his wife and children, helps his neighbors, and, above all, is unswervingly loyal to Keelwolf, the heroic, elegant thane who virtually rules this part of Northumbria. This loyalty persists even though Edgar suspects for years that his bride, Gwenda, was seduced by Keelwolf. Along the way, Edgar goes through battles, a plague, loss of loved ones, and an ordeal by boiling water. Like everyone around him, he also undergoes the confusion caused by the changes of official religion - from Christianity to paganism and back to Christianity - ordered by a succession of kings. It is a turbulent time in Northumbria, but Edgar tends to his plowing and cocks an appreciative ear to the songs of the birds - until circumstances put a knife in his hand and murder in his heart. Review The Sparrow and the Hall is wonderful - it is meticulously researched, full of the detail of daily life and the politics of the time, but also written with deep humanity. The feel for the landscape and the passing of the seasons gives the book a powerful authenticity, and makes the story of Edgar and Gwenda all the more touching. -Dr. John-Henry Clay, Lecturer in History, Durham University

Rewritten as "The Beacon", this one is sorta discontinued 50 years after the Second Great War, a new enemy rises to threaten Ardonia. I don't know what else to say that doesn't spoil the story, so I'll just say it has something to do with Herobrine.

Daveth was a simple farmer, working for his lord, Jalde Frode, and raised two productive people of the community, Aldred and Kjell who together help their village and the Jalde's lands survive. The summer has been poor - they have tirelessly worked on their own fields before the first of the winter storms arrive There are stories often told, one of them between Merrit, the hunter, and Berach, the adder that you can see in the sky. But this story is true - Berach's Jewel is real. Daveth will do anything to save himself even if it does incur the wrath of it's owner. Cover by @erisistable ~ ~ ~ This book is part of a published collection of short stories written by members of the Canterbury Christ Church Creative Writing Society, titled Echoes of Infinity. Available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.
