I am sick of the chase but I'm hungry for blood ╱ TOM RIDDLE, F!OC As Grindelwald's shadow slowly consumed Europe, darkness was edging its way into the forests of Finland. Deep in the heart of these woodlands, the native magicians practised ancient magic long forgotten by the outside, concealed and unaware of the bloodshed which ravaged the world around them. In 1943, Inkeri Koskinen was uprooted from her habit of obscurity, when she was sent to Scotland to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Struggling to keep her identity hidden, she was faced with the charming Tom Riddle, who would stop at nothing to corrupt her thoughts with his manipulative promises. Hallucinations began to plague her every waking moment, as she slowly uncovered the lies and deceit which surrounded her new world, all while being tormented by the wars which raged outside the walls of the castle. cover by @btsachu / [2023-??]

The first part of a larger project to novelize the epic poem "Beowulf," this first chapter details the life of Shield Sheafson, founder of the Danish nation who is the focus of the first 52 lines of the epic. This novelization adds a lot of backstory that the poem does not offer, though I remain faithful to the original text that exists. The retelling also tries to connect the many stories within the story of "Beowulf," creating a universe where different characters and events are interconnected. "Beowulf" is an ancient Anglo-Saxon epic poem about the life of a Viking warrior and hero. If you are into adventure stories and/or Vikings, you will enjoy this story!

Petra Holt has spent two years rebuilding herself into a woman with boundaries, routines, good boots, and a nervous system that only occasionally tries to flee the premises. Then Viktor Falk walks into her first meeting. Viktor: former colleague, current professional hazard, and the man Petra has mentally filed under Do Not Open Unless Supervised By A Therapist. Unfortunately, he is also her new research lead. His desk is in her sightline. His conclusions are annoyingly good. His face has, offensively, improved. And he keeps acting happy she's there, which is both suspicious and bad for office productivity. Petra's plan is simple: trust the raw notes, document everything, never be alone with his theories, and absolutely do not notice his shoulders. A sharp workplace romcom about old damage, fresh starts, found family, creative agency chaos, and the terrible inconvenience of a man sitting across the table like he isn't the reason you needed a two-year hiatus.

Ever read Percy Jackson and the Olympians? In this story, based off the infamous PJO series, we find that the Gods are alive and their world is in danger - except it's the Norse Gods, not the Greek. Jenson Amundsen, 15-year-old teenage boy, just got expelled. Again. But this time, he's not just taken home and sent to another school - when he and his mom are almost killed by a pack of wolves, Jenson knows something's wrong. He meets Mike, who says that there's a Camp full of people who can help him. But what if no one can help the Gods? Ragnarok is approaching, and the end of the world isn't just the old 2012 joke anymore - it's real.
