The Potter name is nothing but a curse to the now sixteen-year-old Albus Potter. Although he might resemble his father physically, that is where the similarities end. Albus struggles to live up to the legacy of his father, feeling like a disappointment. Growing distant from his family, the only thing keeping him together is his best friend Scorpius Malfoy. But, because of his family, Harry is wary of his son's friendship with Scorpius, blaming him for Albus' change in personality. With the pressure of judgment, expectations, and his own mind, on his shoulders, Albus must figure out where his loyalties lie. A Cursed Child rewrite I, like many other fans, was disappointed with the plot of The Cursed Child, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. While I little bits or lines from the play that I thought were good, I completely changed the plot. So here is my version of The Cursed Child, with no queerbaiting, children of Voldemort, and absolutely no time travel!

This is fanfic about my OTP Albus and Scorpius. WARNING: Will contain MINOR Spoilers of Cursed Child as it is based of the book. Written like a Play

Albus goes into his 5th year at Hogwarts with his best friend Scorpius Malfoy by his side. Albus realised he was gay the summer before and is trying to figure out a way to announce it to his parents and Scorpius. Outside of Hogwarts, Lucius Malfoy was released from Azkaban a few years prior and has been plotting power ever since. He will do anything to gain power over The Boy Who Lived, even sacrificing his loved ones. Malfoy thought he would get over the defeat of his Lord. But he was very much wrong.

Draco finds a knit sweater much like those he has seen before on Weasley kids in his son's room (He came to look for something, okay, he wasn't trying to invade Scorpius' privacy). Harry notices Albus is wearing a dark blue sweater with initials on the sleeves that aren't his own and decides he should ask him about it. Scorpius couldn't speak, so he just stared in horror. Down and down the quaffle went, the aggressiveness never fading, arms never growing tired - that was probably due to all of the Quidditch training, Scorpius thought briefly. With every hit a new splatter of blood erupted up and onto Albus, but he didn't seem to notice it, nor cared for that matter. He just continued to bring down the quaffle onto Kyle's face.
