I left writing here fore a while I left writing as a whole for a while too. I had glimpses of inspiration here and there though. So I wrote on my Facebook and then started a blog recently. However, I wanted to collect them. In here lies all that was written while I was away, during the heartbreak of the last two years, however, I'm finally getting a grip of myself. I started writing more regularly. I thought that here is where I grew while writing. I would like to grow more and write better. So thank you in advance for willing to read through this.

From the grassy plains of Northern Nigeria to the swampy areas in South; two souls battled their way towards their destinies and struggled to overcome the obstacles placed in their paths. With a pinch of romance,a bucket of humour,a pint of self love, spiritual and personal growth and of course family drama;nothing is impossible. (Don't let this fool you ,I usually write better than this.Writing descriptions just happens to be the bane of my existence ) *this is more of a story of self discovery than it is a love story * NB: This is a first draft and story is unedited.

A chapbook describing my continuous journey of discovering myself, implementing self-love, the way I process healing, and understanding my femininity. This chapbook will be an ongoing writing as I will write and add pieces of new discoveries about myself or me just expressing my feelings and passions. This is with the intent with helping myself understand who I am so I can ease into my womanhood.

There are things that are hard to admit and as you reflect, you will be able to teach yourself how to admit and accept what have happened and learn from it. It is indeed good to hear a word from people and be at ease yet it is much better to figure it out yourself.

"Drowning in Self-Hate" In this poetry piece, I explore the emotions and feelings of self-hatred. I describe being "blindfolded" and "weighted down," feeling stuck and imprisoned by this overwhelming feeling.
