Amy Rose and Sonic the Hedgehog have been dating for quite some time now. Amy can hardly believe that the man who has saved her life multiple times throughout her life is her boyfriend. The blue hero of Mobius with a regular girl who lives far out on the city's outskirts. Amy believed that when Sonic finally accepted her, he would begin to warm up and match her affection for him. However, it seems her daredevil hedgehog boyfriend hasn't changed much since the days of her chasing him around. He's distant, rarely comes to visit her, and barely ever mentions his relationship with her outside of dates Amy plans for them. Shadow the Hedgehog is widely seen as a loner hedgehog that no one outside a few people can interact with successfully. The Ultimate Lifeform is still haunted by his past visions of Maria, his best friend, and granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik. He doesn't enjoy being around people, particularly Sonic due to his annoyingly enthusiastic personality contrasting to his own serious, focused one. No one has ever been able to make Shadow feel the way Maria has. No one has been able to make him hope again. On the night of Princess Sally's Birthday Ball, a truth is revealed to Amy about Sonic. 7 years ago, when everyone was still young, the whole gang split up after Dr. Eggman was finally defeated, everyone went on their own. Now, Amy is 21 and getting a phone call from Rouge saying that something happened to Shadow, so she then takes the earliest plane there. She then arrives to his 2 story mansion, which looked old and rundown. Like Rouge had said he never did get any guests. Read and see how the whole story unfolds. :)
