Flora. An innocent nineteen year old, who has incredible abilities, but doesn't know why. Alexander. A ruthless, power hungry vampire, who's been searching for centuries for a witch powerful enough to complete a certain spell for him. What happens when Alexander kidnaps Flora to keep her abilities for himself? Will she be the one to melt his ice cold heart, or will he just end up corrupting her innocence? EXTRACT: "How do you turn into a vampire?" He sighed then reached for his drink and took a few gulps. "What is this- a fucking interrogation? I kidnapped you, surely I should be asking the questions, hm?" He muttered with a raised brow and I shrugged. "I don't know how kidnapping works, I've never kidnapped anyone! But haven't you been alive for like, hundreds of years? Shouldn't you know how to kidnap people?" This man is very rude and I don't like it! Before I could even form a pout on my face he was in front of me and pushed me down so my back was lying on the bed and he was above me. "Believe me, I know how to kidnap people..." he said with a smirk as he looked me over. "If I could have it my way, I'd have you tied up on this very bed, begging me to fuck you until I finally do then drain your sweet blood from your pathetic little body." I gasped at his words as I looked up at him in shock. Oh my... but that's for only when your married. "I-I-" He smirked then ran his finger down my neck. "But there's something special about you." He stated as he pulled away. "I've never met a person with blood that tastes like yours, and can do the shit that you do." I slowly sat up with my heart pounding out of my chest and my flushed cheeks. "W-why?" He scoffed then turned around to look at me. "That's what we're trying to find out."

For a girl who doesn't have, what many call "a life", she sure got screwed for trying to be nice. Now Mari Hart isn't a just some ordinary nerd that screams over her numerous obsessions like she's insane, she has a heart to go with the geeky personality. In fact her favorite spot to volunteer would be her community homeless shelter, Come Inn and Stay. The atmosphere is filled with tragic, heartfelt stories and numerous amounts of gold hearts disguised by the stench of alcohol and cigarettes. On a late night volunteering, she finds a boy beaten and bruised outside the shelters doors, but instead of walking by him, like all the other bystanders, Mari gets him in and cares for him. This simple act of kindness changes her life forever. Ryan Hills hasn't had much luck in his life: dropped out of high school, has giant family problems, and got kicked out of his house. All that aside he would do anything for his sister, Maggie, and I mean ANYTHING. While trying to make some money, Ryan got himself in some unspeakable trouble that ended with him getting abandoned at God knows where. Though because of this he may have hit his luckiest break.

Despite the media making out that there's much suffering in the world, there's many people, especially in the Western Societies, that are completely ignorant of and untouched by actual true plight of others that the media bases its exaggerated portrayal of some people's conditions on. When we're growing up as children we're taught that being ignorant- not listening when we're being spoken to-is a sin. But to be able to be ignorant of life's sufferings, I think, is a blessing. This poem is about that blessing but also about not being naive in our ignorance, occasionally let the worst, most horrific scenarios and potential situations cross your mind, just so that you're prepared if something dreadful, heaven forbid, was to happen to you or those you love, but to also remind you of how blessed you are now, right here, in real life.
