As far as I've seen no one has thought of diabetic Nico? I thought it would be cool, after all he always eats sugary foods when tired. Sorry if the diabetes aspects aren't too accurate, I'm basing this almost entirely off of one book I've read (Backcountry by Jenny Goebel [I might have the last name wrong] it's a kids book, but it's very good)

When Nico's parents die in a fire, he and his sister goes to home to home until he's around the age of ten. When he comes to the abusive foster home, he finds his sister nearly dead in a pool of blood, a knife sticking out of her stomach, her last words to him was run. Ever since then he's been running from foster home to foster home but when Will Solace is forced to have a foster sibling as the parents need more money, he is forced not to fall in love with Nico Di Angelo.
