Life is like a fist. When it hits you, it hits you hard and fast and it hurts like hell. A fist crushed into her stomach. She managed a strangled gasp, egging her assaulter on in a way she wished she hadn't. Kneeing her, she fell to the ground unceremoniously in a heap. She could practically feel their unbridled hatred in just the atmosphere alone, that is, if their actions didn't prove it already. The exhausted pants of her attacker raged next to her crumpled body as the beating finished. Footsteps receded into the distance and all too soon, the darkness of unconsciousness consumed her. ~ The first book in a possible two book series about a Sassy, with an extra ASS, teenage girl with beaten body and a mysterious abuser.
