This is a side project for me, but I've been reading a lot of comments on Wattpad and talking to a lot of people at school, and they are depressed and down on themselves. There will be quotes, mottos, and messages. This is a book that if you are feeling those feelings, you can read and hopefully feel better. We need to stop the negativity! No negative comments targeted towards anyone. This is also a judgement free zone, regardless to looks, gender, sexuality, age, religion, and other things. If you would like to help me with this book, you can message me. I will give you credit for what messages you have to say if you want. This isn't for me, this is completely for you guys. This poem is a positive reminder for all of the black girls and women that struggles being in a racist society that not only doesn't accept who they are, but tries to tear down their self-worth and value. A reminder to never give up or doubt who they are. That Melanin is not a burden but one of the truest marks of beauty. #freeversepoetry
