The three gems summoned their weapons. A giant robotic creature burst through the trees. This wasn't a gem. It looked like a machine almost, and I didn't want to be reminded what I thought it was, either. It was in a sphere kind of shape, having four metal poles to hold it up. In the middle of the machine, lied a rotating center piece, and a small circle, designed to shoot blasts of energy. That's when it started to shoot.

When he meets a mysterious person calling himself Phantom, a desperate Steven makes a deal with the man but after breaking his contract the Gem he loves is now becomes Phantom's puppet. It's up to Steven and the others to save her and get his name off the contract before he looses himself too. Peridot has starting to feel strange around Steven. She has a idea of it but everything else she know about it is like a blank slate. Steven wants to admit his feelings to Connie, but then he has been noticing the occasional fast heartbeats, the craving for being around her. He has been noticing the things he felt to Connie but this time to Peridot. Will everything be okay, will stress keep dumping on Steven? Well.
