Forced to watch all of history as a silent witness, to not comment, judge, or take sides, but to simply observe and pass on their knowledge. They are 'the keepers', who guard the memories of the civilizations that they watch. They are everywhere, always hidden in plain sight in the planets, galaxies and universes entrusted to their safekeeping.
They belong to an organization called simply, The End, and are assigned until Judgement Day, an event shrouded in mystery in the inner workings of the organization.
Tlaloc is assigned the Earth's history to watch. She doesn't know what will happen on Judgement day, or even the motivation behind it, but simply that her job is to watch, and take note, then report back. But when Tlaloc discovers the terrible and stark truth behind her simple actions, she wages an inner war, conflicted as to what she should do. Twisted by what she has to do, confused and tormented by her strange fascination with a human boy, Aster, she faces a choice . . . What do you do when you don't know what's right and what's wrong?
