This is the Emperor. I think. Alexandr. Queen Victoria's grandson, the foreign British power. I feel his blood beat, thin, beneath his paper skin, in those blue veins. Something amiss. Something that's too weak in the Russian snow, the turned earth. His hand is cold against my cheek, thumb winding through my coiled hair. "How can I thank you for saving my son's life?" He runs a thumb against my lower lip, waiting. Not pressing, just hoping with bated breath. The walls are thin. The walls whisper. I pull away with a cold smile. I catch my eyes in his gaze, the forbidding ice of my home. Of what the snow made me. The wild, black hair of a vědma. "Haven't you heard? I'm the devil, Alexandr. You don't want to bed me unless you wish to lose your soul." *** A parallel universe where Rasputin was born as Matryona Grigorievna Rasputina. There was real magic. And the tsar most certainly fell under her spell. When she falls, so too will St. Petersburg. *** DARK FANTASY (UPDATES WEEKLY) COPYRIGHT 2018 BY SOPHIA WHITTEMORE. All Rights Reserved.

"I'm not star-crossed. Not unless you cross me." Ro is a Montague who killed her father to inherit the drug-running business and their considerable stash of bio-tech. Jules is the heir to the Capulet Casino and the single rose of the blood-stained, rotting streets of New Verona who wants to escape their captive world. But will the rose smell as sweet if Ro steals them away? *** Two crime lords, both alike in villainy, In New Verona, where we lay our scene, From older murder leads to new misery, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean. From the delinquencies of these two foes A pair of star-cross'd felons take their fight; Whose misadventured bio-tech overthrows Do with much death bury their parents' might. Let the tech war into brothels, casinos, and fatal masquerades, And in the shadows of the city's cruel rage, Aside from their vendetta's end, nothing could remove, Turn now your consciences from this page; The which if you, with patient eyes attend, The past is gone, this dark future we must end.

These two were a couple literally out of this world. Due to Earth's standardized society, they might just have to adjust to that weird standard for couples in order to fit in. It wasn't a simple task though, with how very different their planet's customs were. Starling is used to being the dominating, independent, aggressive and rebellious one. She's considered the "boy" of the relationship. On the other hand, Cosmic is prim, proper, sassy and eloquent. He's what they call the "girl" of the relationship. With the mission to find the last royal blood-line of their destroyed home planet, they must find a way to fit in society. Or, would it be better for them to fight against those standards? Before all of this were to happen though, they must patch up their seriously broken relationship and of course, fix a few other million problems that hurdle their way along the journey. 2015-present© stxrblight

"Do you take the dare?" A series of (short) interactions between personified genres. It's not as geeky as it sounds. "Yes." __________________________ Spinoff to "Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover!" Absolutely random, read at your own risk. Certain characters have bad habits of heavy cussing.
