I remember when I was bullied, I remember when I was hurt. I remember when I lost my heart. I remember going home right too my room cutting myself then crying, what did I do wrong. Every word stabs me, I choke on my tears. I wanna scream, I wanna yell, "STOP LEAVE ME ALONE" What have I did to make this world betray me! Will this have a happy ending or sad? (Very emotional story)

"A New boy, at this school...I can't even. Who would want to go here." There's a new boy in school, and Blake just so happens to meet him. He's quite different... strange for a 14 year old. He loves to draw, sing, dance, and plays multiple instruments. This all starts to change at a school concert during Blake's gym period. Soon enough a strange turn of events is brought to daylight and years go by. Everything is changed.

Korte is a 17 year old half black boy attending a predominately all white high school in rural Mississippi. His life has been far from easy. He has been bullied and tortured constantly for the last four years, and not just because of the color of his skin. It's the last day of high school for him; he made it, against all odds. But will he be able to survive another day, or will the walls he's built up begin to crumble around him? Will his problems finally become too much?

Occasionally, I have the opportunity to write for UBOMAG. This article that I wrote with Delana Lands, talks about how we can all come together after the election. It's time to drop the hate that is a large part of the false narratives in the media today. If more of us got together and treated each other with respect and compassion, we would see that we really are not that far off in what we really want. Don't let the hate run away with you and create fears that really are not there. Talk to your friends, and have your own "Peace Over Pancakes" meetings, and let's all come together to heal this divided nation.
