Re-write/fix-it fic of sorts, for Stranger Things (Mike/Will -centric) Starts at the end of season 3, when the Byers' have just moved out. Mike's POV, what he got up to (in my mind), for those months in between season 3 and season 4. I'm planning on keeping the basic structure of s4 there but just altering the scenes that included Will and Mike. Not touching other plotlines as much. *Not sure of the exact date of the Byer's move, Stranger Things wiki would state they were living in Lenora from Oct '85 - March '86. I would just gather that the school year or semester would start earlier than October. As much as one would love to say that it was just Danielle Links, they couldn't be more wrong... Danielle was her own person, yes, but within her body, there was more. A poor girl diagnosed with DID far too late... a freak. She'd originally lived in Arkansas, going to school like a normal girl, until an incident with something that wasn't her. she'd never previously had friends, so she made some, although they were quite.. troublesome. After the incident, they decided to move somewhere else to start a bit fresher. Unfortunately, she can't escape herself, or something that laid in her house. Eddie Munson, also a "freak". He was never afraid to speak his mind, he lived far too long to give up his voice now, that was a permanent trait. When Danielle arrived, he was instantly intrigued by her, she was what he liked to call a "lost sheep". He gave it a few weeks before approaching her, for what he didn't know, and he asked around about her. He got multiple varying results, a lot of which concerned him. He decided to give up and talk to her, and there was something eerie about her, an odd sense of dread. It was a large pool of the unknown that drowned her, that's what freaked him out. There was one thing that he appreciated, she was quite... Dramatic.

They may have defeated Vecna but not for good. Steve and Dustin try to find clues in the upside down, but they unexpectedly find an very much alive Eddie Munson but he's different.

Terra's boyfriend Steve has treated her well throughout their relationship. He's been with her through ups, and downs, one of which is Terra's most ungrateful, ignorant groupmate, Billy Hargrove. Terra needs good grades for a future she can only dream of, an end to the discrimination she's been facing. And Billy won't stop her from getting her high grades, but he's making her life even more miserable as it is, with her mother's "sacrifice", her father's abandonment, and her sister's selfishness. Terra feels stuck, and Steve feels like the only good thing in her life- someone she absolutely can't stand to lose.
