The Championship Tour is the biggest stage of professional surfing. Anyone who has a future in the sport spends years there, searching for a World Title. River Lancer has earned herself a shot to jump from the Qualifying Series to the big leagues, and she intends to make it count. The tour is where every surfer wants to be, but searching the world for the best waves can make things at home in Hawaii a little different. Specifically, one relationship between River and a boy back home might change a whole lot with one crash of a wave. Ironically, a wave might be the thing to show River that surfing isn't the most important thing in the world.
