"Ti amo, Hanna."
Victorian London is a place that most would consider to be full of hypocrites and those who are only interested in fame, notability and keeping a good reputation amongst others. To an extent, they're right.
But not everyone falls into those categories.
Hanna Everlington is an eighteen year old aspiring pianist, wishing to follow in the footsteps of her father and some day share her original pieces to the citizens of London (and maybe if she's lucky, the world). Though with her father's bitter attitude towards music, he would never allow her to follow such a path. But his rules have never stopped Hanna from playing the one instrument she is so passionate about.
When her best friend's great-uncle, Broom Penderry, sends word that she could be useful in an upcoming assignment alongside her childhood best friend, Jim Penderry and his colleague, Alfred Westman, what will she choose? Will she choose to decline Broom's offer and carry on with her secretive life as normal in order to 'live' her dream, or will she put her knowledge to the test and fight alongside Jim and Westman to stop a new supernatural threat from hurting others?
