When Meera Nanda is presented with an arranged marriage proposal to Eshaan Poddar, she is stumped. Eshaan was a guy with whom she fell in fantasy with, because he was her 'Jab We Met' story. But then radical feminist upbringing comes in the way and she is forced to give up on the fantasy earlier than she would have. Meera meets Eshaan in the literature lab class amidst 80 people, of which 77 were guys and only 3 girls. Of all the boys, Eshaan's simplicity and calmness catch her eye. She takes the first step and starts the conversation with him. As days progress, their friendship grows but it is only because of Meera's efforts. But her efforts are not just for him but a lot of other guys as well; a point comes when she forgets about him. She remembers him again later, however, Eshaan doesn't allow her back in. Ten years later, destiny brings them back together, a lot has changed, they have changed, though some things never change.... MANGO LOVE happens in a BABOOL TREE.
