Dangerous, beautiful 17 year old Faiza Khan received the words every young woman dreads to hear. To either be killed, or married. Her choices are limited in the poor city of Bisha, Saudi Arabia. Her father is helpless as he cant ruin his reputation as King of Bisha because his daughter wouldn't get married. She then meets Bali, a poor farmers son who would do anything to get his hands on Faiza's wealth, but he later finds out that he feels a strange attraction to the dangerous beauty. Faiza is given the opportunity of a lifetime; to run away and never look back with a boy she barely knows, or get married to a man she would hate for the rest of her life. Will she find love and abandon her family? Or take the route of no escape? Note: Most things I make up in this story, so it's not accurate information! Enjoy, and vote! xo, kiki

These are the adventures Dr. Anthony B. Wilde, a peripatetic anesthesiologist, exploring strange countries, seeking out new cultures and new friends - boldly passing gas and wry wit on his way. After a strange call in the middle of the night, Tony leaves his tranquil, verdant, idyllic gentleman's farm on the Otago Peninsula, on the south island of New Zealand - saying bye to seals, penguins, and albatrosses he calls friends - to head for the premier medical hospital and research center in Saudi Arabia. People from a hundred different countries live on the hospital's compound - a hub for adventurers, life savers, people looking for something and hiding something. A stranger with two buckets, in an arid land of sand, gold, free spirits and veils that hide more than a pretty face.

Some love stories are not spoken... they are written. Layan is twenty-two-gentle, introspective, and quietly devoted. Raised in Jeddah, her world is shaped by faith, discipline, and the delicate beauty of expression. Through Arabic calligraphy and poetry, she pours her heart onto paper-each stroke a reflection of her soul, each word a whisper of what she cannot say aloud. Mert is twenty-seven-Turkish, composed, and deeply artistic. An architect by profession and a poet by nature, he sees the world in lines, structure, and meaning. His words are few, but when he writes, they linger-soft, profound, and impossible to forget. They meet in Jeddah, where art and language intertwine, and what begins as a shared passion slowly unfolds into something deeper. Between culture and distance, silence and expression, their connection grows-steady, unspoken, and full of meaning. Ink on paper. Verses in silence. Love written where words fall short. A story of devotion, artistry, and two souls finding each other between lines and longing.

I grew up with my mom & dad in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My mom used to hang out a lot with her friends who are also Americans, British & some Mexicans who all spoke English frequently. I made friends in kindergarten who come from different back grounds & different cultures . It was like a whole new world to me So basically my journey began when I was 15 & already to be creative, inspired & more likely determined. The places I have been to & the people I met have all had an impact on me & my personality. I was lucky to be around such positive people.

"Baba, Why can't I be the Sultan?" weeped Ameerah as she sat beside her father's legs, tears glistening like silver beads, dilating her brown orbs out of frustration, anger and helplessness. Her father Abu Quraizah sighed in frustration as he replied for what seemed like the Hundredth time. He spoke without sparing a glance at her as though he was repeating a well-rehearsed line for a theatrical play. "Ameerah, my sweet little girl. You should know that as the Ameer's daughter you can be anything that you wish to be. There's no stopping you but you must understand my dear..." The Ameer was unsure of how to finish his sentence. "You must understand that some roles are more...MORE suited to others than perhaps yourself." Ameerah's tears were threatening to fall as those words left her father's mouth. She had no idea how to respond. Her mind, body and soul fell numb. The one figure head she had faith in , who would support her in all her dreams. "So you have no faith in me or in my capabilities. Just because I'm a woman, right? " Ameerah was frustrated at her father's mindset. The last comment had just about ticked Abu Quraizah off. He had to put her in her place. "You know what Ameerah? You are right. Women can't be leaders. I mean they're so stupid to even think that they can change the Political system." Abu Quraizah bellowed as he got up from his golden-plated the first time to look in his daughter's tear flooden eyes "You're just like your mother. She also attempted to change the conventions of society and look where that lead her..." Abu Quraizah stopped abruptly quickly realising his unintentional slip of tongue, Ameerah froze. She felt numb and she felt a wave of rage sweep through her. What did he mean?

At 19, Samira Yasmin Al-Hadi finds herself at a crossroads in life, torn between familial expectations and her own desires. Raised in a devout Muslim family, she wears her burqa as a symbol of faith and tradition, but beneath its fabric lies an innocent girl in search of affection. When her parents propose an arranged marriage with Zayn Ibrahim Al-Farisi, her 25-year-old neighbor and the older brother of her best friend, Samira feels the weight of the world pressing down on her. Zayd , a devoted Muslim with a strong sense of duty, is not opposed to the arrangement. Yet, he grapples with his own feelings of entrapment as he contemplates a life defined by obligation rather than passion. As they navigate the complexities of their potential union, Samira's dreams of love and autonomy clash with the reality of their situation. As they spend time together Samira must confront her deepest fears: Can she embrace a life of devotion to a man she barely knows? Or will she dare to defy her family in pursuit of her own happiness?
