Everyone Chiara Dane knows has a perfect life; parents, siblings, friends. Most of them have even discovered their soulfinders, their perfect matches. When Chiara questions her own life, she seeks her true self. Then, a trip to Paris sets in motion a complete change in her life. Sequel to my "Rays of November" and Joss Stirling's savant series. Among the magi in the world of Danu, there are nine distinct disciplines of magic. To be blessed with one is normal, to have two is quite rare. But every few centuries, one is born who can master all nine. A Savant. These young souls are routinely captured, twisted and used as weapons by the nine Guilds or individual magi who wrestle control of them. A short and tortured life is always their fate. Jack and Myr, two magi unaligned with any of the guilds, find Damien before his discovery as the next Savant in Danu. Can they save him from the same fate and give him a normal life as a child?

November "Nova" Morse seems to have the perfect life: she's found her other half, is living in his penthouse suite and is on her way to becoming a successful doctor, as well as being gifted with the power of empathy. So what's missing? Her memories, for one. In a bid to be independent, Nova works in a hotel, where she meets Ray Benedict: fun, outgoing and sweet, everything her boyfriend isn't. Ray believes there's something more to Nova, something hidden deep within, but she doesn't want him interfering with her life. So what will Nova do when her perfect facade begins to crumble? This story is a continuation of Joss Stirling's savant series, but it can still be read standalone. Completed. Sequel "Tones of Chiara" is out.

An essay I have long intended, but hesitated to write. Involves specific, ill-understood ways in which my neuro-atypical mind manifests its different talents and shortcomings, and where, as well as how I see something of the same combinations reflected in the two rather more famous and accomplished figures pictured. Please note, I make no claim whatsoever to Einstein's genius, and would never willingly be associated with Mozart's degeneracy. FIRST, ME To get that out of the way Of relevance to this essay is that I am somewhat neuro-atypical. I was very late diagnosed as autistic, far too late to be of much help, as by then I'd adapted as best I could to compensate for my shortcomings, though it did give friends and family cause to nod sagely and proclaim themselves not surprised. I am also Hyperlexic, a condition often related to Autism. In my case I was reading and writing perfectly at age two, though I hasten to add that I did so with a two year-old's maturity and comprehension. Ergo, lots and lots of dinosaurs. Finally, in later years, following some very intensive self-examination and efforts to, in my words, 'build my own mind', I began, under circumstances then a mystery but now somewhat better understood by me to display flashes of what has been tentatively labeled Savant Syndrome, but which I have kept as far from analysis, other than my own, for reasons which may become apparent.

- Bloody Painter. "Murmur rose around me as I checked his pulse and breathing. Both were unnoticably low, maybe even absent. I yelled for someone to call 911 and get the AED while I started CPR." Take a journey through the views of a young boy with autism and savant syndrome as he struggles to become what he's dreamed to be: a surgeon. When he finally achieves his dream, it doesn't go the way he expects... NOTE: Hi all! This story is way old - like 2017 old - and my writing style now is much more refined. If you like this book, be sure to check out "Aftershocks," a more recent story of mine. Thanks!

Ella's life has been unorthodox to say the least. At the age of four, a horrendous car crash killed the majority of her immediate family apart from one brother a few years older than her. A year later, she was adopted but for years struggled through the foul side effects, both physically and mentally, of the trauma. Seventeen years later, at the age of 21, Ella plans a girls holiday away back to England with a few friends, but the trip quickly turns sour when the girls discover an uninhabitable island - with their own residence. There was something about this island that Ella couldn't shake, but reluctantly leaves the island, and her only brother, behind. Joe has always isolated himself from everyone, although it was through choice. Joe was considered one of the "popular" kids - but only preferred to hang around his true friend. On his 21st, Joe is hired by a secret base for people with mind powers, or Savants. A few months into work, a new girl joins the base. Rumours have it, she's the adopted sister of one of bosses. However, an extreme threat placed against the two causes them to flee back down to Cornwall, and they find out more about themselves then they originally intended. They both find out a secret that will hold them together, but might end up killing them both.

His world turns upside down when the world discovers the secrets Larry's been hiding. Local fame turns to rejection, plunging Larry into spiraling terror. Emotionally little more than a child, Larry's new life in Sanger, Texas forces him to grow up and face the real world while struggling to reconnect with his estranged daughter. Where once he was selfish and shunned religion in favor of science, this misfit man unexpectedly finds acceptance in a conservative evangelical community of people he once considered beneath him. Unbeknownst to Larry, his bond with Duke prepares him to face a life-or-death decision about his grandchild. The Misfit Man is a tale of mystery, intrigue, love and loss in which all those involved experience the world anew through the eyes of each other.

Yeah, Vincent saved the world yesterday. No big whoop. He's saved the world a dozen times though you wouldn't know him. Vincent is a spec. Specs destroy dreams when they become real. Vincent has worked at this job in his seventeen-year-old body for almost eight decades. Excitement. Money. Power. What's not to like? The fact that he is a semi-immortal stuck in a teenage body just means he doesn't need to shave every day. He's fine with that. Until he meets Olive Preston. Olive is a vivacious twenty-something who, if she was granted one wish would not be satisfied knowing all things back to the Big Bang - she'd want a peak at the day before. Vincent is a puzzle she never knew existed. When a dream comes that Vincent must destroy, he doesn't see the harm allowing Olive to tag along. He's smitten, but knows once the dream is vanquished time will reset and Olive will forget she ever knew him. Vincent, however, has chosen a bad day to bend the rules. He is a skilled spec, arguably the best in the world, but this dream is unlike any he has ever faced. The lovely distraction Olive provides might mean more than just his death.

Fanfiction based on the 'Finding Sky' Series by Joss Stirling. Zhalia Benedict: the last and youngest sibling to find her other half. How can they be together if someone special is trying to kill her? Is she dead before a relationship can bloom or is she in a bloody mess soon to be buried and forgotten? ______________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ I know this story could be greatly improved but I feel like it's better if I left it be. Please leave no hate, only good comments and votes. WARNING: Uriel's, Victor's, and Will's soulfinders will have different names and background stories in this book compared to the original series. This is because this story was written before the last 3 books came out.
