This is my entry for the national geographic #PlanetorPlastic writing contest. This is a short story with which I would like to help raise awareness for the wrong that is being done to our oceans. This is a terrible situation, one that is of our own making. I hope this story impacts you to try and change.

Desmolinda, an aspiring vsco girl enters a crazy world of oops and sksksk as she starts her new school. Will the hot vampire, teacher, mafia boss, bad boy next door stop her from saving the turtles or will she complete her mission.

-★🜚- Usually the shore side would be vacant of any living soul at this hour.. Though the question wasn't why your weary person wasn't in your soft comforters at home, but why the figure of a man was emerging from the swaying waves in full diving gear. This odd practice would be one of the things to pull you in. Like the waves where the water meets the grains of sand, pooling up around your ankles before slowly pulling back into its infinite void. But nothing prepared you for the low tone of his voice. Bored; but he hadn't left yet.
