Annie is a normal 12 year old girl, she has a brother and a sister. mum and a dad, they live a normal happy quiet life, Annie's birthday is coming up she wants to have a party with her friends, but a solar eclipse is going to happen and everyone is more focused on what happens before and after than what Annie wants to do. Annie gets the shock of her life when she learns of something, that is just to weird it has to be real. Right? Annie is the answer to this really wierd situation she has found herself in, she doesn't know it yet, but she will save earth, if it's the last thing she does.

This is my entry for the National Geographic's #PlanetOrPlastic competition. I hope this story impacts some people as the earth' oceans are beautiful places and its a shame that we are ruining them with our rubbish. I hope you enjoy.

Our planet is dying. And it's our fault. A little glitter can cause a lot of problems. Even milk can be a part of global warming. Dozens of species go extinct everyday. Terrible things are bound to happen if we don't change our ways. This nonfiction text will explain different types of pollution, how we can prevent it, and what can happen if. we don't.

Sabrina takes her daughter, Cassandra every year to the ocean to watch the sea turtles hatch. One day, they spotted nothing, making Cassandra really sad. Sabrina decided to make her daughter happy by diving into the ocean themselves and explored. Both mother and daughter were excited about the exploration, but what they witness is not what was expected... #PlanetOrPlastic Something must be done before it's too late...

Not only are plastics destroying our marine ecosystems, poaching has endangered countless of animals; both on land and in sea. Do your part by disposing plastics properly and discouraging the use of poached products.

About 2 days ago, I had a dream that was so surreal and amazing that I thought I just had to write it down. I know it would be impossible for me to write what happened in the astounding magnitude in which it was, but I shall do my best. Please read and share this experience. What that awful man did to Cecil was cruel and inhuman. Help bring justice to the animals who have no voice.

Here's a speech about the extinction of animals and plants that I wrote for school last year. It's such a serious topic that I want you to discuss about. I was presenting it with my whole heart and I hope that you'll like my speech as well. Just in case you wondered: It's a formal speech, so I didn't use any short forms.

'ARE YOU LISTENING?' This is an ecological message carried in the form of an #acrostic poem, a #poetic story if you like. The title came by accident a typo when chatting on #WattPadd with one of my many #PoetsPub friends some months ago, it was my intention dedicate it to her, but my aging memory is a neurological (an ecological) disaster and in its wasteland, sadly her name can't be found. So if you find yourself reading this, please remind me and I'll correct the error of my ways. But, more importantly, it is a reminder to the human race, to you, to heed the obvious warnings of this planets impending fate, no don't turn a blind eye because it's not in your field of view. Its the primary focus of the prevalent ecological issue contained in the #NationalGeographic challenge #PlanetOrPlastic to communicate the effects of plastic waste, upon our seas and oceans. However, this message cuts across a number of issues like inane #Politics, #Global warming, #Acid #Rain, #Fracking and #Nuclear #Waste, each of which is equally damning, with its own primary focus '#SavethePlanet'. 'ARE YOU LISTENING?'
