𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗨𝗟 Society often assumes that infants are unaware of their surroundings. But the truth is, character begins to form even in the womb, shaped by every whisper, every emotion, every decision around them. Saxon Choi, second child of Choi Sang Jun, the head of the empire called Choi Group. From the moment her parents decided to create her, a throne awaited her. A legacy of power and corruption. She was destined to inherit the Choi Group, an empire so vast its wealth could fund an entire nation... and erase one, too. After her older brother cut ties with their mother and walked away from the legacy, Saxon was raised to be untouchable, unstoppable, and unquestioned. Her future was clear: conquer the Manhattan Group, their family's greatest rival. But as she grows, a quiet rebellion begins within her. Beneath the armor of control is a longing for something softer. A simple, mediocre life. One without bloodlines, without bloodshed. A life where conscience matters, and drama doesn't come from danger, but love and care. Then she meets Six - a man cloaked in mystery, whose presence awakens something moral and grounded in her. He doesn't just challenge her purpose. He gives her one. Yet life is unpredictable. Every second matters. And between Saxon and Six stands a boundary that should keep them apart... But to them, that same boundary is where their strength is born. Xenon Machina Series: Zyg Manhattan

By Donald Mace Williams (Bagwyn Books, 2015) Edgar, the central figure of The Sparrow and the Hall, is a churl, working and raising his family on a small farm in extreme northeastern England during the seventh century. Though he can barely afford even a metal tip for his wooden plowshare, he looks upon life much as a typical modern American farmer does: with determination, acceptance, and good humor. He loves his wife and children, helps his neighbors, and, above all, is unswervingly loyal to Keelwolf, the heroic, elegant thane who virtually rules this part of Northumbria. This loyalty persists even though Edgar suspects for years that his bride, Gwenda, was seduced by Keelwolf. Along the way, Edgar goes through battles, a plague, loss of loved ones, and an ordeal by boiling water. Like everyone around him, he also undergoes the confusion caused by the changes of official religion - from Christianity to paganism and back to Christianity - ordered by a succession of kings. It is a turbulent time in Northumbria, but Edgar tends to his plowing and cocks an appreciative ear to the songs of the birds - until circumstances put a knife in his hand and murder in his heart. Review The Sparrow and the Hall is wonderful - it is meticulously researched, full of the detail of daily life and the politics of the time, but also written with deep humanity. The feel for the landscape and the passing of the seasons gives the book a powerful authenticity, and makes the story of Edgar and Gwenda all the more touching. -Dr. John-Henry Clay, Lecturer in History, Durham University

This book is now available on Amazon and unfortunately they won't allow me to put it up elsewhere for free, not even the unedited draft. Sorry! The Vikings! Aelswyn had heard about them, all the tales of their barbaric behaviour, the rapes and pillages, the massacres, the burnt villages. But she never thought they would dare to attack her father's stronghold. And that they would succeed...

Rewritten as "The Beacon", this one is sorta discontinued 50 years after the Second Great War, a new enemy rises to threaten Ardonia. I don't know what else to say that doesn't spoil the story, so I'll just say it has something to do with Herobrine.
