Fragments of the Dark is a book of twisty, macabre and hard-hitting tales told in only two sentences. It's like getting a bag full of assorted mixed candies... the only difference is that each finely wrapped piece of sugary goodness is laced with deadly poison and maybe hiding a razor blade or two beneath the small, sweet surface of every delectable bite.

Since my 1st Halloween book was a hit, I thought I'd do book #2. Just like my 1st book, you request what you want or who you want. I just won't do the new horror movies such as the Conjuring series, for I'm not a fan of those movies.

A new house was supposed to be a fresh start for Julia and her family. But some houses don't welcome you... they keep you. It began with a small hole in the wall. A glimpse of a narrow corridor glowing faintly green. Then came the whispers... the footsteps... and the feeling of being watched. At first, it felt like imagination. Until the corridor started appearing everywhere- Behind walls... inside dreams... even on the TV screen. People disappear in that house. Not suddenly... not loudly... They just... stop existing. And no one ever sees them leave. Now Julia and her family are trapped in a place where sound doesn't travel, time doesn't move, and something unseen is always closer than it should be. Some doors should never be opened. Some corridors should never be entered. Because once you step inside... you don't come back.

No one gets to decide what to eat and meals are assigned according to class. Will they survive the Elite? The pending force of doom pends on the surface. Men are fighting and the Elite are on the rise.

The story doesn't change. I do. Every choice I make- keep reading or close it- has already been made. By another version of me. And the worst part- they all kept reading. And if you're reading this- you already know which version you are.
