Then she meets N, a mysterious boy from the outside who somehow finds his way into her world. For the first time, V begins to experience something she's never had before-someone who makes her feel like there's more to life than the tower. But as V grows closer to N, she starts questioning everything Cyn has ever told her. There are secrets hidden behind the tower walls, and the truth about why V was kept there may change everything she thought she knew. V has a hard time dealing with the fact that she almost failed to protect N from Cyn, had Uzi not been there with him. This leads to her spiraling, completely overthinking her own capabilities, and going paranoid over Uzi's tail [Cyn] being anywhere near N on his own. Constantly on edge and tense, her behavior starts to concern N; he appreciates how V's beginning to care about him again, but he doesn't want her to worry herself to death. Luckily, he's willing to do anything to help her get past her trauma a second time. And N's determined to get to the bottom of V's sudden breakdown after the fight. She has to learn completely new skills, and meet and befriend the townspeople. She somehow manages to get some new friends, few 'enemies' and maybe - just maybe - even manages to fall for someone. But who would actually love someone like her? // I do not own any of the characters that live in the Pelican town (Except the main character) // The start is/can be pretty boring. This is just a first draft, and really rough one. And that yellowish thing on the character's head on the cover. Yeah.. That's at least supposed to be a hat.
