Void of Dreams is the first volume of poetry and writings by Rachael Anra, featuring dreamy, surreal, and reflective poems. The poetry and prose are centered around the concept of a void, but each poem is its own little world.

After a leap of several years, we arrive at the present moment of the story, both in the Oculi world and in the human world. All characters, whether human or Oculi, find themselves in a situation that is even more complicated compared to before. The theory we have is that if you collect different types of 'iron roses' like for example, acid roses, which can be found at the very end of Mount Everest in a hidden cave. They're known for their ability to produce acid, allowing the user to safely swallow it if with the condition. It'll most likely kill off the virus in the brain, thus we're going towards our new goal of finding all the mutations of iron roses and experiment on a willing participant with 'DCOTU'. Hopefully our theory will be correct", says Kyle. "Many children have been going missing lately, professor Kyle. You think this could possibly be the cause for this tragedy upon our children?" "We'll just have to see about tha-" Darkness. Complete darkness. There was never anything remarkable about these days. Most of them slip away before we even notice. A conversation on a bus. Winter light resting quietly on a window. A stranger sitting across from you for a short while, then gone at the next stop. They remain only as long as memory allows And memory is never gentle for long. These pages are made from such passing things. Not because they were extraordinary, but because they were once ours. We wrote them down not to hold them still, but to let them linger a little longer than dewdrops on blades of grass. And if, for a moment, they feel like they might also belong to you, then perhaps they haven't entirely faded.

This collection of poetry is what I would consider on the mushy, cheesy side, but hopefully a bit fun and humorous too. These poems are a break away from my usual serious poems. As an added bonus, the first poem is great if you are on a dating site and need to get your message across about what you want in a relationship - told poetically of course.
