Kelly Severide and Taylor Ryan Voight have known each other since they were kids. Their fathers were close friends. After high school, they split ways and lost contact. Kelly enrolled in the Chicago Fire Academy. While Taylor enlisted in The United States Marines. Ten years later Taylor has returned to Chicago. Now she is a detective and sniper for the Intelligence Unit for CPD. Kelly is now a squad lieutenant for Firehouse 51, Squad 3. No one has heard from Taylor except for her father three years ago. Taylor wonders if Chicago is worth all the trouble. But anything was better than what she'd been running from.

This is a fanfic surrounding Stella Kidd, Kelly Severide, and my own character Rebecca Kidd. Some things from Stella's past that she hoped she would never have to endure again resurface. Stella has to decide whether to tell Kelly or keep her past to herself. The life she thought she had gotten away from, comes back to haunt her when Stella's sister come into town. After Shay's death nobody is able to move on. Severide was the one that took her death the hardest. His family at 51 has offered to help him but he had turned them down. After being gone from the fire station for so long he meets the new blonde paramedic on ambo 61. Will Severide ever be the same? Does he unexpectedly meet someone he never thought he would ever have feelings for? Read to find out! This is my first fanfic so I am sorry if it goes bad.

A call, a warehouse on fire; sometimes it takes very little to turn people's lives upside down, and this is one of those cases. If the fire, with the same people, had happened two blocks away, the life of 51 would have continued quietly. But fate has other plans, and even if it doesn't seem like it, the universe is also keen to make people feel better. Brooklyn Lucille Severide is the younger sister of Kelly Severide, a lieutenant on squad 3. Brooke is a diligent, hard working, and friendly person who works hard as a detective in the intelligence unit. She has often been put undercover, and she is great at feeling into any role. Her undercover jobs vary from lasting a few minutes to a few months. Kelly hates that she works a dangerous job as he is very worried and hates not knowing if she'll make it home, however, he is very proud of her little sister.
