After another rejection from Lily, James moves on, and his eyes land on one grumpy slytherin.

"Where is she?" asked Dumbledore with a bright smile. "In the reading room" answered Snape, gesturing Dumbledore to go in. As soon as Dumbledore gets into the reading room, his heart sinks as he looks at the sight of the little girl. Knowing that someone has entered the room, quickly the girl looked up and saw Dumbledore. Her black eyes meet Dumbledore's blue eyes. They look at each other for a while. The little girl startles when she saw tears fall from the old wizard's eyes.

Severus Snape has a certain character that makes him very difficult to like. But what happens when he meets someone with a similar character and who is looking for the same thing as he is?

Nevermind the odd accidents that happened around him, the strange things that changed or disappeared when he tuned into his emotions just a little too much. All of that changes on his eleventh birthday, when a mysterious stranger introduces him to a whole new world that explains quite a lot of things he'd thought were only imaginary. His entire worldview shifts, but the peril he's immediately thrust into upon discovering this world puts him on the path to a destiny he's fairly certain he wants no part of.

"And you know how exactly, mister?" Tom laughed. Interrupting the two, and wanting some attention back on her, Lilith lets out a little whimper and grips Severus' robes. Both men chuckle quietly before Severus adds, "Sorry father, her lordship wants to go cuddle and sleep in my bed" "It's alright son. Goodnight princess". Tom kisses Lilith's forehead and turns to head back to his quarters. Severus walks into his own room and gently sets Lilith down in his bed. Climbing into bed, he holds her to his chest and slowly rubs her back. As she starts to slowly fall asleep, he whispers "My perfect little Lilith. No harm shall come to you as long as I'm around. Nothing would of prepared Celia Malfoy for what she was about to be faced with.
