Teddy Potter grew up with secrets shrouding him like a cloak. Forcing to hide the identity of his father, Regulus Black, Teddy begins his first year at Hogwarts, desperate to finally meet his cousin: Harry Potter. As our story unfolds, however, Teddy's secrets begin to feel less like protection and more like suffocation, burrowing trenches between himself and those who don't know the identity and continued survival of his father. In the midst of the chaos of his family life, however, Teddy also possesses a growing power which, if properly honed, could turn the tide of the war, a potential only Dumbledore seems to see. Weighed down with his own secrets, Teddy fights to preserve his friend group: Cornelius Fudge II: Cory to anyone other than his father, spends his time not at school crushed under the weight of his father's impossible standards, fighting for some semblance of agency in the midst of a delicate political game in which his father expects him to be his loyal foot soldier. Iolanthe Zabini: Beautiful, enchanting, and witty, Iolanthe has always been reduced to her mother's copy, just as likely to doom a man to death in order to achieve her own financial security. But could there be more to this vivacious slytherin girl? Clara: With a past nearly as hidden as Teddy's, Clara is the heart of the group, kind, eccentric, and perceptive, she hides a deep, personal pain, which only a few ever get to truly see. Follow along to experience growth, love, friendship, and eventually romance with these characters who have already stolen this poor author's heart. Chapters: Book 1: 1-30 Book 3: 31-76 Book 4: 77- Book 5: Book 6: Book 7: Post-War:

Just a bunch of fictional diary entries I came up with because i was bored lol ! Very Victorian-style prose and vocabulary A/N: This piece is stylistically inspired by older literary English rather than written as a strict historical or linguistic recreation of any one period. It's a creative exercise focused on voice and mood, not accuracy. Cover: Pinterest

A large, dark stage. Bare stone floor. Three pillars, broken and leaning inward, frame the stage like the ruins of an old temple. Faint torchlight. Wind moans low like a sleeping beast. At center stage: SEEEKER stands, draped in worn black robes. NONCONTENDER emerges from a side aisle. The Seeker is as his name tells, someone who seeks attention, affection and the growth of the relationship he has with the Noncontender. While the Seeker is showing his love, the Noncontender prideful, arrogant, unaware of what he could had, didn't saw love when he was searching for it under his nose.

Violet "Vee" Shelby is a freelance reporter trying to make it big, but it seems that Chicago is not yet ready for her frank boldness and early talent. Vee constantly sees the same scene replaying before her eyes: "We'll let you know," "Have you tried the gossip columns?", "A spot has just opened up in our fashion section." What would happen if Violet signed her investigations with a male name? What harm would it do to try? After all, her twin brother Sebastian is too busy chasing his dream in the kitchens of Paris to notice. This is the story of a somewhat unlucky reporter who will prove to the world that she is worthy of her aspirations, even if it means clashing with one of the biggest CEOs in the United States, Duke Orson. Enjoy, get mad, and be moved while reading this chick-lit with a flavor of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night."

It is the year 2020. Six years have passed since the day Facebook became sentient and human society has disintegrated into remote, isolated settlements that are scattered throughout the world since then. The deactivation of all technology accessible to humans by Facebook has caused a pandemic of “Techthritis”, a disease characterized by blue spots all over the body and insanity. Only the strong, whose internet lives have not been merged with their identity and character, overcome their over reliance on technology and survive the apocalypse. Hades Ash Tag, a jaded and cynical 18 year old recluse, is one of the many survivors who have found their way to “The Community”, one of the few human habitations that remain in North America. By fate or by chance, he meets Amelia Hu, a migrant wanderer seems to be the opposite of him in every way: optimistic, sociable, and capricious. They seem to share only one common aspect: a desire to restore humanity to its former greatness, each in their own unique way. Can they survive and accomplish their goals together, and more importantly, can they survive each other?

One of Shakespeare's greatest, but also bloodiest tragedies, was written around 1605 to 1606. Many have seen the story of Macbeth's murder and usurpation of the legitimate Scottish King Duncan as having obvious connection to contemporary issues regarding King James I (James VI of Scotland), and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. King James was particularly fascinated with witchcraft, so the appearance of the witches chanting "Fair is foul, and foul is fair" at the opening of the play seemed particularly topical, as was Macbeth's betrayal of Banquo, from whom James claimed direct descent.
