One thing you learn at Jackson-Avery secondary school, you never mess with the Deck of Cards. No one knows much about the elusive members, just that they were rich, popular and completely dangerous. But students love gossip and have made themselves dedicated to the labels that the four wear. The Spades; led by Ace. A group made by the rebels, the rule breakers. Anyone who thought authority was bull. The Hearts; led by Clara. A group dedicated to peacemaking and loving each other. They were probably the least intimidating of the four. The Clubs; Zara led them. The group of analytics, of brainiacs with a manipulative side. Although they weren't in your face like the Spades, they were smarter. The Diamonds; Conrad. The group of narcissistic pretty kids. The rich kids. The ones who thought they were Gods gift to the world. Everyone seemed to make themselves apart of at least one of these groups. If not, you were an outcast. A joker. A wildcard. But something is off about the Deck of Cards. Something more sinister than highschool cliques, and I was going to find out what it was. That is if I don't get killed first.

While in the hospital he meets a girl his age named Molly Jones and the two grow close during Nate's first 24 hours awake. She promises to meet back with him in exactly one year when he wakes again. This becomes a yearly ritual and the pair meet each year. As the years pass Nate begins to notice odd things about his condition and the doctors looking after him. He starts to suspect that there is more about the night of the formal that the hospital and staff are not telling him. While looking in the mirror on the 5th anniversary of the formal he notices that he has grown no facial hair and his face remains the same as his 16-year-old self. Alarmed, Nate stumbles across files that refer to him as "Test Subject: Reverof" as oppose to a patient. It's not long before Nate finds out that his entire life has been a lie and that there was no shooting the night of the formal. Will Nate be able to figure out the real reason why he's locked away in a hospital? Or will he spend the rest of his days unconscious in a hospital bed...

I met him on the night of my fifth birthday , huddled in a corner crying his eyes out . He said that no one from his family remembered him ......... I invited him inside my house and told him to stay until he feels okay . I thought my mom will scold me for letting in a stranger , throw him out like she did with the little kitten I had saved from the street , but the surprising part was she never saw him . A seventeen year old guy roamed around the house , played with me , helped me study ........... and my mother never objected once about some stranger staying over . It took me years to realize that he had died that night and I invited in a person who no one could see ever again . But when I did , I just couldn't let go , he was the darkness to my light and I knew I couldn't live without him . Imagine my reaction when he one day said that he wanted to stay beside me , but not as a ghost , as a living individual . I guess he was a bit protective .......... I never knew his actions could affect anyone other than me . I wish I did , so the town wouldn't end up like this ...............................

[SHORT STORY] People say curiosity kills But don't forget it can be a virtue too. ~~~Krist held his hand tightly on the steering wheel and all of sudden his eyes turned towards me, they had tears in them and I could hear him mumbling my name. The car turned over and spun like a top, flipped from the road to the gorge. Krist held my hands tightly, all I saw was his face, blood was running down his hair and it turned his eyes red, I could hear Techna calling out my name but I couldn't open my mouth. I couldn't see Nance nor hear her. I saw the car was about to hit the floor of the rocks lying below and I took my last breath...

All Blue wanted was to be heard. They wanted to tell their parents who they were, but were shut down every time. That is, until they met Ronan Diez. Ronan was busy trying to enter a young writers contest and needed inspiration. Leaving his home for a road trip across the country seemed the best way to go. While stopping for gas in Maryland, he saw the most inspirational looking person.
