So this is low key a rewrite of Queen of the Mind Palace but it is so far from that fic that it is completely separate, just follows a very vaguely similar plot line. ~ I'm bad at summaries, but this follows Sherlock Holmes and his adventures when he befriends and decided to foster a teenage girl by the name of Percy with raw intelligence such as his own. He enlists Molly to help him do so, and it is not long after that a murder spree with a familiar pattern comes into light and old skeletons are suddenly tumbling out of closets. ~ It should be noted that while I technically finished this, the last half is, like, summarized and switches between my own narration and scenes that I had already written because I was NOT going to finish.

As she gets to know Sherlock and Molly and even takes over the late and great Mrs. Hudson's job, the lovely young lady begins to settle into London as the story of what brought her to this moment comes to light. It sounded more forced than the actual truth, causing him to shake his head violently. Taking another shaky breath, Sherlock searched his inner thoughts. He remembered every moment they spent together; every conversation; every laugh; every awkward moment; every cup of coffee; every unspoken word; every kiss on the cheek; every minute he wished he had spent admiring her beauty. To be very clear, I do not own Sherlock or any of the Sherlock characters. This is a work of fan-fiction. I actually wrote this a year and a half ago, months before The Abominable Bride premiered, but I've always been too scared to post it. But now, only three days before the premiere of Sherlock Season 4, if I'm ever going to post it, it has to be now, before Season 4 either confirms or contradicts what I have written here. Basically, Mary has her baby, but Moriarty returns to take his revenge. This story is very angsty, but it gets better towards the end, despite a well-loved character meeting her death. There is some Johnlock and some Sherlolly, so shippers of those ships might have some mixed feelings about this story. This story has been written as a screenplay.

Alone in 221B and struggling to stop a motiveless serial killer, Sherlock finds that the ten year tune that dictates his relationship with Molly has gotten old. It's time for a change.
