As the shinobi world was struck by a new unexpected crisis it will let those feelings grow. Even after the war was over, there were small troubles here and there. With Shikamaru practicing to be the Hokage's advisor under Kakashi, and Temari trying to organise the next Chunin exams while assisting Gaara, those troubles seemed to be the least of their concerns. The one problem they were facing though, was each other. "What a troublesome woman."

Obito somehow managed to put himself in a Genjutsu before Kaguya killed him, but now he's been teleported to a world where Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are really evil. They plan heinous things, assisted by Kakashi, Team Taka, Kabuto and unnecessarily reanimated people. Now, Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji, after becoming victims of their cruelty, plan to fight against them. But they learn that Sasuke has reanimated their beloved Asuma. Along with them, the fifth Hokage Tsunade, who always had a suspicion, takes charge of this. But she's often disturbed by the fact that her late lover, Dan, is writing romance novels about people around him! How do they manage everything now?

The story unfolds seven months after the Fourth Shinobi War, and it's Temari's first time coming to Konoha during the start of peacetime. Shikamaru is assigned to be her escort as per usual, but this time things are a little different. After their unexpected first kiss, the two shinobi start to develop feelings for one another and neither knows what to do. Temari is the princess of Sunagakure with two overprotective brothers and a nagging administrative council, and Shikamaru is simply her escort who is in training to be the next advisor of the newly appointed Sixth Hokage. Apparently, their relationship could never work... publicly, that is. Will they overcome their doubts, risk destroying their friendship, and fall in love all in utmost secrecy?
