The Overlap: An Anthology of Twisted Realities is a collection of unsettling, intimate stories where ordinary life fractures at the edges. The stories share a thematic spine: the uncanny hiding inside the everyday, the way reality can warp without warning, and the quiet horror of being the only one who notices.

These are just some short horror stories I am writing and posting on here for the time being as I do not have anything better to do. I am also posting these on creepypasta.com so you can probably find them on there as well.

Deep in the emptiness of Pennsylvania there lies a tiny town, a town called Nightmare. Of its few townsfolk, no one knows the story of how it got its most peculiar name, and while it isn't exactly a nightmare for the people who live there, the town does live up to its name in other ways. (While this is technically flash fiction since it is under 800 words- I'm calling it a short story and I plan on adding more stories about Nightmare later.)

This is not a story or some kind of art. It is purely for voting on future short stories that will become a part of my short story collection .
