On New years eve, Sam Paris, a struggling 17 year old girl battling with unhealed trauma and unclear hopes for the future; can only hope to close this chapter of her life, unveiling a new one. That her dreams would come true. Seconds into the new year, she opens the door to find herself transported in time: to the 1900's. Scared, confused and angry-for some reason-she tries to make sense of her situation, not until she recognizes the lonely boy at the cake shop, Aeson Kai Darien, on the streets with her. Will they find their way back whilst sorting through personal problems? Or will the comfortable things happening be a one time thing?

Ellie and Kayla have been best friends for as long as they remember. What a pity that you can't pack your best friend in a bag and take her to college with you. After planning they'd not be separated because of lengthy facetimes, a gazillion text messages and a few visits, they realize they are busier than they expected and are drifting apart faster than you can blink an eye. It's been a year and they'd lost almost all contact just enjoying the fact that they love each other, although it's not enough. Then out of the blue, on a Friday evening, Ellie leaves Kayla a voicemail that shatters her heart into a billion pieces in sadness for her friend. She goes on a 5-hour drive to Ellie's college to remind her that she may be broken, but not abandoned. Word count: 978/1000

Kenna Keth is a nineteen year old girl who has come face to face with the apocalypse and has to have a battle for her life after a horrible truck accident in which she got hit and then run over. Her whole family is gone and the only person who can take care of her is the one person she despises, Zachary Williams. They were in elementary school and Zach decided to chop off one of Kenna's pigtails. Years after Zach still decides to torment Kenna calling her names and even tripping her. Does he pick on her out of love? If so will Kenna grow feelings for Zach or will she turn him down? ~ "Kenna?" She didn't answer so I picked her up and carried her to a hideout I found a few blocks from here. She was light and easy to carry. As I woke up I felt an excruciating pain in my hip, chest, and ankle. "Ow" I realized I was in my hideout and so was someone else. Zachary Williams.
