When his brothers go to find him, Mikey is struck by a giant, mutated snake while trying to protect some mutated gophers. This incident leads to another argument, during which Mikey finally lashes out at his brothers, venting years of pent-up anger and sadness. However, he soon becomes gravely ill due to the snake's potent venom, much to his brothers' horror. In a race against time, the brothers seek help from the mutated gophers, desperately trying to find a cure for the poison within five hours, or else Mikey will die. Through this challenging ordeal, the brothers come to understand the true value and power Mikey holds within the family, realizing just how close they came to breaking apart.
