Everything has happened except Ragnarok. Loki had gone to Jotunheim and become king. He found his lifetime love Sigyn. The one person that hadn't given up on him. Thor forgets all about loki. Not literally but he has tried to forget. That is until the avengers ask about him. Then they take a trip to jotunheim. This is after a few years of course.

Faye was just another librarian. She enjoyed literature and writing, especially the classics. After bumping into a stranger one night her life is completely changed. Thrusted into a world where Norse myths seem to be more than mere folklore. Faye is suddenly expected to to face gods, elves, dwarfs, giants, and all the myths of old in an attempt to prevent the second coming of Ragnarok; the end of times. Evidently Loki enjoys adding a little mischief, until certain sparks fly between two unsuspecting players in the game of the Norns. Can a hidden romance be the final downfall of the Aesir?
