~I stepped in a puddle and slipped, right in the middle of the street. I fell hard, my glasses becoming lopsided. Mud splattered all over my clothes, and a hole ripped through the right side of my cardigan. But that wasn't the worst of it. HOOOOONK! I gasped and looked up to see an eighteen-wheeler headed my way. Its lights were on, but it had obviously seen me too late. Quickly, I tried scrambling to my feet, but slipped again in the water. I desperately gazed back to the truck, on my stomach, with mud all over my face. But just before collision happened... someone grabbed me by the back of my shirt. It happened so quickly, but I remember the person carried me with lightning speed to the side of the road, still lying down. The trunk zoomed past, horn still sounding loudly. When I tried to twist around to see who had saved me, no one was there.~ Ever since her father died, constantly moving, leaving friends behind, and struggling through teenage-hood was the life of Willow Summers. Her walk with God had hit rock bottom, but she had no idea how to fix it. And that's when she, her mother, and her brother moved to Warm Oaks. Warm Oaks seemed an ordinary city on the outside, but once arriving, Willow finds out that not only does her mortal enemy - Daren Vale Jr. - live there, but there was also a claimed "superhero" running around the streets and saving people. She had serious doubts about the latter statement, but when he's proven real to her, the girl feels the need to investigate. But,when she does, she discovers that the Silhouette wasn't just a random superhero - he was connected to her, her family, and her past in more ways than she could imagine.

"I'm lyrica, the fox demon." she replied back, her black wings twitching a bit. alastor's eyes widened. he had only heard of the fox demon, but he had never dreamed of meeting her at the hotel! No one knew exactly how she died, but they say she had gone completely insane and started a war, then, accompanied by her sister-in-law, she took over all of the west side of the world. she had killed so many people, and then, something terrible happened, that no one but the fox demon herself knew. alastor marveled at how she became the world's most famously known psycho over night, and decides to befriend her. what turns into an unlikely friendship, turns into a love hell has never seen before.

This story circles around the life of a girl, Grace. Her father and sister died some years back, but there's more to the story than meets the eye. Okay guys, I suck at description! Disclaimer- the title of this book was formerly SILHOUETTE, but due to some circumstances, I decided to change it. Anyways that's besides the point, I'm a first time writer and this is the first book I've ever written, but it's not cringe worthy or cheesy, i promise!! And I don't own any of the pictures used in this book.
