The pridelands and tree of life have been at war for years. But when the tree of life's powers mysteriously stop working two lions from completely different backgrounds start having visions of eachother and the future. Meanwhile a mysterious pulse builds beneath both kingdoms, threatening to tear everything down.

In this world, paws held game controllers, lions wore hoodies, and the "Great Circle of Life" was mostly just the name of a local 24-hour donut shop, because this Lion Guard love story, happens in the human world :)

After Kion gives up the Roar and his duties as the Fiercest of the Lion Guard, he asks his teammates to accompany him to the Tree of Life so he can be with Queen Rani. However, Fuli sees this a betrayal and believes it undermines everything they have worked for. After years apart, the Pridelands are on edge as a neighbouring Cheetah Coalition threatens a war with King Simba. Kion is forced to return to his homeland and sacrifice his happiness for the sake of peace. The one thing that can prevent a war is a betrothal between the Prideland Prince and the Cheetah Coalition Heiress. "Everything I do is for the Kingdom".

The first rays of the sun had not yet breached the horizon, but the sky above the Pride Lands was already shifting from the deep indigo of night to a bruised purple, signaling the imminent arrival of dawn. Inside the cavernous Royal Den of Pride Rock, the air was thick with the scent of dry stone, sleeping lions, and the faint, lingering aroma of last night's meal. The silence was absolute, a heavy blanket that covered the slumbering royalty. King Simba lay curled on his side, his massive golden mane fanned out like a halo against the rock floor, his breathing deep and rhythmic. Beside him, Queen Nala rested with an elegance that persisted even in sleep, her tawny fur glowing softly in the dim light filtering from the entrance. Further back, Kiara and Kovu were nestled together, while the younger cubs-Rani's relatives visiting from the Tree of Life or local pride members-were scattered in various states of disarray across the cooler sections of the den.

Overworked. Abused. Neglected. This was Kions life before he finally left the Pridelands, a thing he would have never thinked of if it wasnt for his father. He didnt even know why he hated him so much, maybe it was something he made when he was a cub, or because he was the leader of the Lion Guard, just like Scar. But when all hope was lost, a new chance was given to the young cub, to go away, away from his father...... Fuli just witnessed her sister die. with no one else to go to, she runs away until she collapses. She ends up in the pridelands but lies about her family and lives a life of trust issues and PTSD. All the Pridelanders knew Safi. You couldn't miss her with her extra bangs of hair and distinctive blue eyes, or that she was almost always in the company of King Simba himself or Prince Kion, and sometimes both. Everyone reasoned that, with King Simba and Prince Kion watching over her, Safi would grow up to be a very happy, cheerful, well ~ groomed cub. But they also knew she had a past: a past she never talked about, and, when people did ask her, she flinched, or dodged the questions she was posed. As if she didn't want to talk about it. It was also generally known Safi's "family" in Pride Rock was not her own, but, rather, one she had herself chosen. Only Safi knew her full story, and she was playing things very close to the chest, despite concerned voices often following her wherever she went. She would not tell anyone her secret. At least until the day came when Safi's past was standing in front of her and talking to her.

Simba meets someone that will change his life. The story is set in season five after the episodes Buffy vs. Dracula, The Real Me, The Replacement, and Out of My Mind. Relationship: Simba and Buffy - child/parent Dawn and Simba - brother and sister The other relationships are canon I don't own Buffy or the lion king. They are owned by Joss Whedon and Disney
