During her time with Mufasa and his pride, she comes to realize that they have more of connection then they thought. After tragedy strikes once again, Shani and Simba are sent into exile and they run away into a jungle to be taken in by a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa. When they are forced to return to The Pridelands to face Mufasa's evil brother Scar, will Shani fight her fears to help Simba take his place as king and find out who she truly is within herself? After Kion becomes the leader of the Lion Guard, his father starts to change his view of him. Starts scolding him and eventually abusing him. After about a year, Kion makes a mistake and it doesn't sit well with his father. Once in the Outlands, he is brought in, he want's to escape... But he can't, even when he becomes the most feared animal in the Outlands. Will he keep his real identity a secret from his family?

This is the third book to my second Lion King series, "The Lion King: Makosa's Beginning." In the last book you have witness both brother's Heri and Makosa growing up and becoming adults in two different worlds. When the two reunited, let's just say it wasn't your ordinary happy reunion. Makosa immediately wanted revenge to get back his title as Future King. In order to do so, the brothers have to battle one on one.
