For all those who felt the Disney version was a little too happy or wondered if mermaids have souls...may I present the original mermaid story, Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale. This story was written as part of Hans Christian Andersen's collection of fairy tales and is now in the public domain, which is why I have posted someone else's work on my profile. The mermaids in my stories do not endorse this work. It has been denounced as a work of fiction and anyone who wishes to discuss this work with Vanessa, Belinda, Maria, Sirena or any other mermaid has been warned.

A while ago Bartum was still finding his creature on the island. But in that moment he found a child with sensitive ears with a device attached to his chest and thinking that he was a monster, he took out a whistle and blew it and saw that the child was transformed into an abomination. He then uses that child as his henchman to get the Beast from him but.....he will be able to escape the fate of being controlled or....He will be a slave all his life.

Things have changed since the recent Full Moon. On top of Zac discovering he is a real merman, and the mermaids being banished from their pod, Manoa discovers an ancient curse that seems to be connected to her. The mermaids are also trying to figure out the mysterious Merman Chamber and it's purpose, but they know one thing: it cannot be fully activated if the pod is to return. When one of the mermen is determined to uncover the Chamber's secrets, Manoa and the other mermaids will have to do whatever it takes to keep their home safe. They'll soon learn many more secrets as one of Sirena's stories weave the tale of her first mission, where she'll soon discover something that might break her new friends friendship, forever.
